By delivering personal customer service and following MoveItGear Guidelines, you can show buyers that your MoveItGear business is honest, friendly, and an expert in your field.

Be Transparent

The MoveItGear marketplace is built on trust. It’s important that you represent yourself, your business, and your products and services accurately.

  • Be sure to fill out your shop’s About Us page
  • Items must be accurately represented in listings and listing photos. Buyers can submit reviews of items they have purchased.
  • Services must accurately describe what service(s) are provided.
  • Respect the intellectual property of others.
  • Do not engage in fee avoidance.
  • Do not sell prohibited items.

When selling a product, you must accurately explain the condition and product specification of the product; link to and include information from the manufacturer if necessary.  When selling  a service, you must accurately explain what the service allows for.  For example, you must not make any claims about improvement or capability expected after a lesson that you can not reasonably expect or guarantee.

Provide Great Customer Service

  • Honor your shipping and processing times. See Seller Shipping Guide
  • Respond to Questions in a timely manner
  • Take the time to provide thorough Recommendations.  Customer rely on your expertise.
  • Explain your store’s policies clearly and honor your policies as stated

Try to work out disagreements or disputes directly with the buyer. In the unlikely event that you can’t reach a resolution, our Trust and Safety team can help. If you are unable to complete an order, you must notify the buyer and cancel the order.

MoveItGear reserves the right to measure and monitor customer service interactions and metrics, in order to provide a superior experience to customers.

You are also protected by Seller Protection Program, when certain criteria are met.
